Steps on How To Clean A Car Windscreen
Nothing beats driving with a clean and clear windscreen; it’s just one of those things that improve your driving pleasure!
Not only does it look good, but it’s also important to keep your car’s windscreen clean since dirt, stains, and smears can hinder your visibility and distract you from the road ahead.
Use an alcohol-based glass cleaner.
A minimum of two clean, lint-free microfiber cloths or towels
Eye and rubber glove protection (optional but recommended)
* Avoid using ammonia-based glass cleaners if your windshield is tinted, as they might cause discoloration. For a streak-free finish, use reusable microfibre cloths or towels. Reusable microfiber cloths are more durable, can be cleaned after use, and are better for the environment. To keep your windscreen clean and as environmentally friendly as possible, avoid using throwaway cloths/towels!
* If you see a chip in your windscreen, make sure to get it fixed before putting pressure on the damaged area, as certain chips can shatter if you apply pressure to the chipped region.

Steps to take: Carefully pull both wiper blades outward and away from the windscreen.
Spray the glass cleaner evenly to coat the front half of the windscreen completely.
Wipe the windscreen in straight vertical motions with one of your clean microfiber towels.
Wipe the same area of the glass with a clean microfiber cloth in straight horizontal strokes, ensuring that the glass is dry.
Repeat steps 2-4 on the other half of your windscreen, using either the clean sides of the same cloth or a fresh, new pair.
While the wiper blades are still off the windshield, spray the glass cleaner on them.
Pinch both sides of the wiper blades and wipe downwards with a cloth; repeat until dry.
Finally, polish the entire windscreen in tiny circular motions with a dry microfiber cloth.
* Avoid letting your hands or fingers touch the glass when wiping. This might result in streaks on the windscreen.
* Do not leave overspray on the trim and borders of the windscreen unwiped, as this will show when it dries.
* Remove any dirt and dust that has accumulated in the wiper blades; if this is not done, it may scrape your windscreen when you use the wipers. Make certain that any leaves are removed.

What to do:
Using rubbing alcohol
Glass cleaner with alcohol
three clean, lint-free microfiber cloths or towels
Eye and rubber glove protection (optional but recommended)
Wipe the interior of your windscreen with a clean cloth in circular movements, beginning at the bottom and working your way up.
Wipe the windscreen again with the clean side of the cloth, using up and down strokes.
Apply enough rubbing alcohol to a fresh, clean towel to prevent it from dripping. Wipe the windshield in a circular motion. If you spill alcohol on the dashboard, wipe it immediately using a paper towel to avoid discoloration.
Directly spray the glass cleaner onto another clean towel. Wipe the first half of the windscreen vertically and then horizontally.
Repeat step 4 on the second side of the windscreen using the same cloth.
* To avoid staining the dashboard, do not spray the rubbing alcohol and glass cleaner straight onto the windscreen.
