Telegram Enhances User Experience with Improved Sticker Search and Video Features

Telegram, the popular chat app that achieved profitability last year, has rolled out a series of updates designed to enhance the user experience. The latest updates focus on improving sticker search, video consumption, and bot discovery, further solidifying Telegram’s position as a leading messaging platform.
Revamped Sticker Search
One of the most notable updates is the improved sticker search feature, which now allows users to search from millions of stickers across the platform. Using natural language, users can input queries like “Thinking monkey” or “Dog eyebrow raise” and receive relevant results. This enhancement builds upon the AI-powered sticker search feature introduced in December, which was initially limited to 40,000 stickers.
Enhanced Video Consumption
Telegram has also introduced several features to enhance video consumption on the platform. Users can now share links to videos with exact time stamps, similar to YouTube. Additionally, users can choose a frame from the video as the cover photo, and even add text, stickers, and emoji to the cover using the video editor. Furthermore, Telegram has added support for saved progress, allowing users to resume watching a video from where they left off.
Improved Bot Discovery
In addition to the updates mentioned above, Telegram has also introduced a new feature designed to improve bot discovery. On the profile of a bot service, users will now see a “Similar Bots” tab, where they can find related bots. This feature is similar to the channel discovery feature introduced last year, which suggests similar channels to users when they join a new channel.
