People, particularly newlyweds, have been wondering what the top ten essential kitchen appliances are. This post explains everything. Nowadays, kitchens are more than just a place to prepare meals. It is now a safe haven for many, where cooking meals does not feel like another chore after a long day at work. Cooking is an art form right now, with nearly every type of machine being developed for an effortless and stress-free cooking experience.

So here is a list of the top ten essential kitchen appliances.

  1. Oven/Cooker on Gas

If this isn’t the queen of them all, I’m not sure what is. It’s a dream to have a gas stove! Have you ever visited Grandma in the village and she wants you to create a cooking fire (of course with firewood) and you struggle for light years until she comes to your rescue? I know people claim all the time that cooking with firewood makes meals taste better, but would you go through all that just for nice food? You must first collect firewood from the bush…then start the fire… Food cooked on a gas cooker tastes great as well…It also saves time and makes your pot sparkle.

  1. Blender

Goodbye, Mortar and Pestle! Put everything you wish to combine into a blender. Blenders typically come with two cups, one for liquid and one for dry food, and so forth. Blenders are made in the shape of a large transparent cup with a blade at the bottom that is pushed by a motor. You may use the multiple speed settings on a blender to get your ingredients equally mixed or mashed up.

In this blender, you may make healthy smoothies.

  1. Microwave: I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I’d prefer to have things that have been refrigerated/frozen microwaved rather than reheated, such as fried plantain and yam. Some items, in my opinion (and that of a million others), should never be warmed over a fire. Microwaves can also be used for grilling, cooking rice, thawing frozen meals, popping corn, and many other things.

  1. Fridge/freezer: This is a need in every home. That harsh heat wave comes rushing through your windows and doors once a year. Believe me when I say that having a cold drink in the fridge is all you need to stay cool. Then, of course, cooking every day should be the least of your concerns when you can do all of your cooking in one day and freeze it all. Life has been simplified.

  1. Pressure Cooker: Do you ever wonder why shaki, roundabout, cow leg, and other hurdles in pepper soup take so long to cook? That’s because not everything is supposed to be cooked in a pot. That is accomplished by using a pressure cooker. It requires less water to cook. This is accomplished by locking the steam inside the pot, which causes the temperature to rise, resulting in a faster-cooked dish. It is faster than most traditional cooking methods.

  1. Toasting Machine: Crispy bread is sometimes preferred. A toaster can help with this. A sandwich maker, on the other hand, assists in the preparation of correct sandwiches, fried eggs, and even excellent waffles.

  1. Electric Chimney/Cooker Hood: This is a very useful device for health-conscious people. Anyone who suffers from asthma but avoids cooking can rest certain that this electric chimney/Cooker Hood will keep fumes and other pollens out of the kitchen, preventing an attack.

  1. Juicers are excellent for extracting juice from fruits and vegetables. A glass of fresh juice a day keeps you out of the doctor’s office.

  1. Food Processor: Food processors are useful in the kitchen for a range of tasks. A food processor is your genie if you like pounded yam but are afraid of how stressful pounding the yam may be. There are both manual and electric food processors available. Make your decision!

  1. Water Heater: This may seem strange, but it is a really important aspect of getting things done in the kitchen. It provides hot water without the need to switch on the gas. There are numerous occasions when we require hot water in the kitchen, and what a convenient method to accomplish this than to have a water heater connected directly to the faucet.
