Make no mistake, the C3 is a fantastic television in every aspect. Our comprehensive assessment stated that it is “already a contender for top TV of 2023” due to its outstanding performance.

Roku TV TCL 6-Series

It’s astonishing to see a mini-LED screen on a TV this cheap. Using a greater number of much tiny LEDs to provide the light behind the pixels allows it to be brighter than other TVs at the same price while also providing superior contrast and dark tones. The technology is often seen on high-end QLED televisions, but this is not one of them.

That does not imply losing quality in other areas. It’s “packed with great features, and the performance is well above average, especially given the price,” as we noted in our entire review. TCL has once again made things appear simple by releasing a high-value TV range with a shockingly high degree of quality.

U8H Hisense

Like the TCL above, the U8H series is distinguished by its mini-LED backlight. Mini-LED lighting has the important benefit of high brightness, which the U8H series simply offers.

The Samsung S95C is ground-breaking. It is by far the brightest OLED TV we have tested to date, outperforming earlier QD-OLED displays in our tests by 40% in peak HDR brightness. You can see why it is so intriguing—and expensive—when you compare its 1,400 nits to the LG C3’s 820 nits. The contrast between bright and dark is substantially more pronounced since it is noticeably brighter, which may make it appear more lifelike.

Although it is a remarkable advancement for OLED TVs, there are other factors at play as well.

The Samsung QN900B 8K may appear to some to be overkill, but there is no doubt in our minds that the Samsung QN900B Neo QLED 8K TV is on another level of performance. Samsung’s mini-LED QN900B Neo QLED 8K TV provides spectacular image quality, incredible color and brightness, fantastic sound, and superb blacks – all in an unrivaled design package.

For those who are unaware, Samsung’s ‘Quantum’ mini-LEDs are 1/40th the thickness of a regular LED, enabling thousands of small LEDs to be packed much more densely together, resulting in substantially more accurate dimming zones and black depths that are much closer to what you get with OLED.

LG A2

LG’s A2 series is the company’s entry-level OLED set, but LG hasn’t skimped on features. While the A2 is not as bright as its more expensive siblings, it still delivers some of the most cinematic images you can get for the price.

Aside from the brightness of the screen, the biggest difference between the A2 and models like the LG C2 is that the A2 lacks gaming capabilities like 120Hz refresh rates and HDMI 2.1 compatibility.
