WhatsApp made Voice Status update available to iOS users

WhatsApp is now offering ‘voice status updates’ to iOS users. You may use this tool to capture audio notes and distribute them as WhatsApp status updates. Previously, the firm had only launched this option for Android smartphones, but with this latest version, it is now available to iPhone users as well.

For quite some time, the Meta-owned platform has been working on the ability to deliver voice notes as status updates. Initially, this function was only available for beta testing. The business then progressively handed it out to additional consumers, and it is now available to all iOS users.

WhatsApp Voice Status Updates is a new feature.

Voice status updates have been enabled for all iOS users by the famous instant messaging platform. This feature has been introduced to WhatsApp’s text status section. To share a voice note as a status update, navigate to the WhatsApp status area.

Then, press the ‘pencil’ icon, which will take you to the status update page. Now, hold down the’mic’ symbol to record your voice message, and then click the arrow button to publish your recorded voice status update.

The platform allows you to review and remove a recording before or after sharing it. This option gives you more control over your voice recordings. Also, keep in mind that the maximum duration for recording a voice message or note is 30 seconds.

Furthermore, you may restrict who can see your voice status and prevent some persons from accessing WhatsApp’s new private audio selection option.

Previously, you had to explicitly pick your audience from the app’s settings menu, and the settings remained active for all status updates. However, you may now use the private audio option solely for certain status updates, making the voice status updates function incredibly simple to use. This feature, like image and video status updates, is entirely encrypted and vanishes after 24 hours.
