Infinix

Infinix and Samsung are two of the most prominent players in the African smartphone industry. Both firms have managed to preserve their competitive advantage by consistently producing great smartphones that fit the various wants of gadget aficionados in the market. Phones like the Infinix HOT 10 and the Samsung Galaxy A12 are just two of the great items available from both manufacturers.

Both gadgets are in the same price bracket (the mid-range), so picking which to buy might be difficult if you walk into a store and see both of them. Through our comparison of the Infinix HOT 10T and Samsung Galaxy, we want to provide some clarity for your next shopping trip.

In terms of appearance, we know that both brands are always on point. The two cell phones are built with attractive frames and eye-catching hues. If we were to go by appearances, you’d want to take both homes. But, because we know you’d want to take one of the two gadgets, we’d go a little further.

Let’s start with something that all of our mobile gaming and Netflix fans will like.

Display

This is a must-have feature for smartphone entertainment. Whether you’re viewing movies or playing video games, you’ll want to be able to do it on a large, clear screen. Both gadgets have fantastic screens in major part. Both of them have drop-notch screens, which increase the screen-to-body ratio and improve viewing. But at this point, the distinction is clear.

Dimensions of the screen

The Samsung Galaxy A12 has a 6.52-inch HD+ screen, whereas the Infinix HOT 10 has a 6.82-inch screen. The Infinix HOT 10’s display is similarly high definition (as is Samsung’s A12), however, it has a refresh rate of 90Hz. This results in more fluid visuals on the Infinix HOT 10T.

Resolution

The pixel count, commonly known as resolution, is another parameter that customers may use to judge the quality of the display.  Higher resolutions imply better image quality. This explains why your laptop’s 1080p video has better clarity than the 720p movie you got from…you know where.

Now that we’ve established that, let’s have a look at the pixel count for both devices. The Samsung Galaxy A21 has a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The Infinix HOT 10’s resolution, on the other hand, is 1640 x 720. At this point, things may become a little difficult. Samsung fits 1600 x 720 pixels onto a smaller screen, whilst Infinix fits 1640 x 720 pixels (a few more pixels) into a larger screen, despite the fact that Infinix provides a superior resolution.

In this instance, the two cellphones each provide a variety of quite distinct advantages. The devices use processors from different MediaTek families, even though both CPUs are produced by the same company, MediaTek. The Infinix HOT 10T is driven by a MediaTek G70 processor, whilst the Samsung Galaxy A12 is powered by a MediaTek p35 CPU. Here is what you get out of the eight cores in each CPU, according to a Nano review.

According to the comparison chart above, the MediaTek G70 clearly outperforms the MediaTek P35. Overall CPU performance for multitasking is superior, as is gaming performance, and to top it all off, the MediaTek G70 operates at a higher clock rate of 2.oGHz than the Samsung at 1.8GHz.

Battery

In the following round, we will discuss battery capacity. With 5000mAh batteries, both companies appear to be fairly placed against one another. However, the Samsung Galaxy A12’s 15W fast charging technology outperforms the Infinix HOT 10’s 10W charging technology.

Both devices use the Google-sponsored Android operating system. Samsung, on the other hand, employs an earlier version of Android 10. It wasn’t old until September 8th, last year, when Android 11 reached the market. The Infinix HOT 10, on the other hand, runs the most latest version of Android, 11.

Fingerprint recognition

This has evolved into yet another significant smartphone function over time. Using PINs and passwords is now considered the longer approach. The only other option besides fingerprint unlock that has gained traction is the face unlock function. However, it has been reported that it is less secure than fingerprints.

Infinix employs the standard rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. That is, its sensor is located at the back of the device and is easily accessible by a pointer touch. However, Samsung employs a positioning that I and many other tech bros have grown to prefer. The fingerprint sensor of the Samsung A12 is located on the side. Because they are used to replace the power button (a button), side-mounted fingerprint sensors are ideal.

Camera

Samsung is often regarded as the undisputed king of smartphone photography. The Galaxy A12 has a 48+5+2+2MP camera on the back, whilst the Infinix HOT 10 has a 48+2+AI camera. Both cameras work admirably in a variety of lighting settings. The Infinix HOT 10, on the other hand, concentrates on nightlife photography and excels at it. Infinix provides more light into the beauty of the nightlife with its Seper night mode and help from its QUAD-led flash.

The Infinix HOT 10T is available at all authorized retail locations countrywide with the range from 64800, whereas the Samsung A12 costs 67,200 and above. Now that you know more about what they have to offer, you can walk into any store and choose the one that best meets your needs.
