TikTok Unveils AI-Powered Avatars for Branded Content and Ads
TikTok has announced the introduction of generative AI avatars for creators and stock actors, revolutionizing the platform’s branded content and advertising landscape.
This innovative feature allows creators and brands to scale their reach and collaborate globally, while maintaining control over their likeness and licensing.
The “Custom Avatars” feature enables creators to create multilingual avatars, expanding their global presence and brand partnerships. Brands can also create avatars with their spokesperson or partnered creators, localizing their campaigns worldwide.
Additionally, TikTok offers pre-built “Stock Avatars” created with licensed actors from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and languages, providing businesses with a human touch for their content.
The AI Dubbing tool further enhances the platform’s capabilities, allowing creators and brands to translate content into 10 languages, including English, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish. This feature automatically detects language, transcribes, and translates content, producing dubbed videos for global audiences.
TikTok’s launch of these features comes as the platform reveals that 61% of users have made purchases directly on the app or after seeing an ad.
The new tools are part of TikTok Symphony, a suite of ads solutions powered by generative AI, which includes scriptwriting, video production, and asset enhancement tools.
This development may raise concerns about AI usage, but TikTok ensures creators have control over their likeness, rates, and licensing.
The platform’s innovative approach to AI avatars and dubbing tools empowers creators and brands to connect with global audiences, expanding their reach and impact.
